BuzzFeed Celeb
Branding, Motion Graphics
I designed the full visual identity and several motion graphics packages for celebrity and entertainment news channel, BuzzFeed Celeb. I consulted with executive producer, Lindsay Webster, to inform the rebrand.
Visual Identity
To inform the new visual direction of the brand I conducted a design audit of the most popular BuzzFeed Celeb content.
I developed a bold wordmark and a versatile high-contrast rainbow palette that pops against the vibrant celebrity photography that is a prominent feature of the brand.
Patterns
I developed a suite of repeating patterns and backgrounds for use in social branding, video, set dressing, and beyond.
On-Screen Graphics
I developed a suite of motion graphics templates (MOGRTs) including title cards, lower thirds, subtitles, and bumpers. Standardizing these assets helped optimize post production workflows and ensure brand consistency.
Style Guide
I built a style guide deck that was distributed company-wide as a resource for all BuzzFeed employees as well as outside vendors.
Puppy Interviews
I redesigned the motion graphics package for the popular Puppy Interview series to reflect BuzzFeed Celeb's new visual identity.
Who's Who
I updated the logo, title card, and question card motion graphics template (MOGRT) for popular celebrity interview show, Who's Who, to reflect BuzzFeed Celeb's new visual identity.
First Times
I created the logo, title card, and question card motion graphic templates (MOGRT) for the new celebrity interview show, First Times.
